This trade fair is a major event in this branch. The emotions it inspires could be compared to the major tournaments a sportsperson participates in during the season. You need to prepare for such occasions, which always entails effort and hard work. Everybody wants to exhibit their “best of class” products.
It was the second time the Nowy Styl Group attended the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair (4-8.02). And once again it was a successful visit. Who stole the show for the Nowy Styl Group and how was this item supported by the Kusch+Co portfolio? You will find more details in a brief account.
The star of our stand was definitely Bjarg, our new swivel chair – Three back height options, appearance and style suited to the Scandinavian requirements and a reasonable price. Yes, it was our number one – says Agata Zawiślak, Export Manager for the Nowy Styl Group.
Gem, set, match for Bjarg? Definitely!
Another item that received very good reviews, especially from architects and designers, was Creva Desk, a 4-metre model with a whole system of accessories and module panels – The interest it sparked did not come as a surprise. The Kusch+Co product is really impressive; its functionality and domestic aesthetics attracted the attention of design specialists – said Marcin Magier, Fit Our and investment engineer at the Nowy Styl Group, who designed our stand this year.
After the latest addition to our furniture team last year, Kusch+Co products found their place in the Nowy Styl Group team and now contribute to its strength.
What was it like to watch the “competition” at the trade fair?
The Nowy Styl Group stand was appreciated by the organisers of the Maison et Objet Workspace fair, which is part of Paris Design Week. When talking to Marcin Magier, the organisers noticed the unique austerity of materials used for the stand, because it highlighted the design and quality of the exhibits.
Another element that was popular among the visitors was a composition made of grass and dried flowers, which was hanging from the ceiling. We were happy that people liked it. We put a lot of effort in this element. We created it on the spot and it took six hours to complete. But it was worth it – adds Marcin Magier. Another thing that attracted the attention of the visitors was a wooden crate and a steel wall, along with natural beech logs - Many people took photos of the logs, which we had brought all the way from our plants in Rzepedź. We even had an idea to take them to our showroom in Prague – confirms Agata Zawiślak.
The trade fair in Sweden is an open event, one of the best in its class. Among the visitors who approached our stand there were also our competitors, and we took this opportunity to see what others have to offer. The fair in Stockholm is always consistent as regards design and colour scheme. This year followed the pattern. If you’re looking for novelties, in Scandinavia you can find plenty. Just be on the lookout for the latest developments in the environment-friendly trend. This time we also saw a few outstanding solutions.
270 business conversations on the 70th anniversary of the trade fair. I believe that the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has entered our schedule and we will definitely be coming back – promises Agata Zawiślak.
