Viden and Xilium chairs, furniture for informal meetings and products from Kusch+Co were most popular with visitors to Nowy Styl Group’s stand at the Stockholm trade fair (5-9 February). “We expect our participation in the event to bring a wider recognition of our products on the Scandinavian market,” says the Group.
The Nowy Styl Group has been present on the Scandinavian market for many years. However, its product range is sold through large distributors, who are most interested in budget products. The Group took part in Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair to increase the visibility of its high-end products, dedicated mainly to the project market. As Roman Przybylski, Member of the Board and Sales Director for the Nowy Styl Group explains, the company tailored its offer to the needs of the region to achieve that goal. Emphasis was placed on natural materials (wood and felt) and forms drawing on Scandinavian design. Also the stand itself was designed in line with the current trends, with a lot of wood and accessories that create a warm, home-like climate (home-office design).

The Viden chair, designed specifically for the Scandinavian market, performed extremely well. “The look and character of this chair are ideally suited for the needs of Scandinavian users. Its reasonable price is an additional advantage, making it a very interesting offer,” says Agata Zawiślak, Export Sales Manager for the Nowy Styl Group. “Also the second of our chairs Xilium was very popular, praised for excellent ergonomics due to technologically advanced solutions such as duo back and x-move,” she adds.
There were many inquiries about furniture dedicated to informal meeting zones – Play&Work sofas, Tepee system and CS5040 high table. “You can see the growing popularity of these solutions,” says Agata Zawiślak. As expected, products featuring eco-materials were appreciated as well. Very good examples are Formo acoustic curtain, the already mentioned Tepee system and Njord chairs from the offer of Kusch+Co, a company that joined the Nowy Styl Group in January and exhibited its solutions in Stockholm together with the Group. It is also worth noting that the acquisition of Kusch+Co was the subject of many discussions and won the acclaim of the industry.

Many warm words were also said about the arrangement of the stand. Visitors particularly liked its open form, free access and subdued design, in line with market standards.
Within five days we have held almost 400 business meetings. Guests visiting our stand represented over 30 countries across the world, with the majority of them coming from Sweden, Norway and Denmark. “Thanks to the Stockholm fair, we definitely became more recognisable on the Scandinavian market. Visitors found out a lot about our company, its size, the reach of our business and how we work, and, above all, our product range. We are confident it will pay off in the future,” says Agata Zawiślak.
