Openness to the world is one of the values that we believe in. When our growth began to pick up pace, we decided we would work with designers who can translate diversity into the language of design. As a result, we can benefit from international development by drawing inspiration, for example from our neighbours. We actually consider you to be one of them, as we think the Baltic Sea unites rather than divides us.
We have noticed and appreciate your lagom, the famous Swedish moderation which helps you not lose head for fleeting trends and maintain balance in every situation. The visual manifestation of lagom is Scandinavian design - understated and minimalist, preferring comfort and function over fancy effect. We have transferred this thought onto furniture for office spaces. We have also added our own perspective, giving our products authenticity which results from our history and experience.
This is how we created the products we are showing today. For the Viden chair, we focused primarily on ergonomics and clean lines. We designed it thinking about an egalitarian office, with no divisions with respect to users’ physical characteristics or their position in the company. The Xilium chair, with its distinctive two-piece backrest, has a slightly different character. Though stylistically it departs slightly from the principle of minimalism, thanks to the duo-back system it ensures a perfect fit to the body, a kind of comfort reminiscent of the Swedish mys. The Tepee sofa system, on the other hand, is an expression of our concern for the environment. The walls enclosing the seats and ensuring privacy have been made with felt produced from plastic bottles. Everything superfluous has been removed from desks eModel and Play&Work, leaving only the absolutely necessary solutions, pure functionalism. Finally, the inconspicuous Puzlo lockers which help hide from view items such as keys, address books, bags and everything else that creates clutter.
As standard, our furniture is offered in base colours. But since we believe that a pinch of individualism can really enhance office space, all of our products are offered with the option to select some more vivid accessories.
We could talk about each of the products at our stand for ages, but we don't want to. Instead, we would rather just invite you to try them out yourselves. We think this approach is just more lagom.
You can test our products at stand A16:28. Let’s meet at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, already on 5-9 February!
